Presenting my new room!

So if you have been wondering where on the earth I have been, so I was working full time in Nottingham till the end of June went my rent was up and since then I have been very busy moving back home for the summer and as all my stuff will be back for two years now due to my year abroad in Italy, I really wanted my room to be redecorated and throw all my old junk away and make room for my university stuff! So here are some images of my new room, unfortunately it is not fully completed.. no curtains and a couple of empty walls which I have some plans for…

At the moment I am looking for a really cool shabby chic/vintage style white mirror for above the fire place and some kind of Union Jack wall hanging to add colour to the room above my bed..

This union jack tapestry from The Rug Company would be perfect however its around £800 and not in my budget at all! Does anyone know of any stores with some vintage style union jack wall hangings because I am really struggling!

So I managed to find some time in the middle of decorating my room with my boyfriend to throw on some of my new purchases. Another mainly American Apparel out paired with some Keds, I’m also wearing a pinafore but its not very obvious in the images. Hope you like my new rings also!

Allora.. sono riuscito a trovare qualche tempo mentre decorare la mia stanza con il mio ragazzo a provare su alcuni dei miei nuovi acquisti. Un altro outfit su American Apparel in coppia con alcuni Keds, sto anche indossando un grembiule (pinafore?), ma la sua non è molto evidente nelle immagini. Spero vi piace il mio nuovo anche gli anelli!

Giveaway number two

Been very busy as of late due to working full time, moving back home, visiting the boyfriend and decorating my room (painting everything white! John Lennon style!) So I apologise for the lack of real posts. The good news is I went summer shopping so I have many items to share with you just they are all sprung around the house due to decorating so I don’t know where they are or have the time!
So after the success of my previous giveaway and the guilt I felt of only having one winner! Here is another from a very similar store. Tea Accessories in fact by Marcela Camargo.

This lovely Black Sailor Knot Headband, it is all handmade using twisted cord and elastic band at the end for perfect and comfortable fit. I have it with me now! Arrived this morning but unfortunately I have been painting all day so just haven’t had time to photograph myself in it!

Blogger meet and giveaway winner!

 
Today I met up with Claire from Jazzpad for lunch in Nottingham and we had such a lovely time :) After having some lovely lasagne and chilli con carne for Claire and discussing anything bloggy & Wife Swap USA we moved on to shopping where she introduced me to some really cool vintage shops! I ended up buying Dr Martens, whether I keep them or not is the question!
